STAK System Warranty

Stanley Vidmar warrants to the original retail purchaser each new STAK System, including all equipment and accessories supplied or manufactured by Stanley Vidmar, to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of purchase and under normal use and service for the period set forth below and subject to the limitations and exclusions hereinafter set forth. Stanley Vidmar further reserves the right to change materials or design if in its opinion such changes will improve the product.

The hoist on the STAK System is covered by the hoist manufacturer’s warranty.

Limitations
Time: This warranty applies to the entire STAK System for a period of one year from the date of shipment against defects in material and workmanship.

Manufacturer’s Obligation: Stanley Vidmar’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any part or parts which examination shall disclose to Stanley Vidmar’s reasonable satisfaction to have been defective in material or workmanship. Such repair or replacement parts shall be furnished without charge.

Exclusion
This warranty shall not apply to:

  • Any STAK System resold.
  • Scratches or abrasions on exterior painted surfaces.
  • Any STAK System components (i.e., pallets, racking, or hoists) which are applied in any application other than as a total, integrated STAK System
  • Damage caused by the repair or replacement of any parts subject to the misuse, negligence, accident, alteration, or which shall have been tampered with in any way so as to affect adversely the performance and reliability of the STAK System.

Sole Warranty
This warranty is the only warranty applicable to the STAK System and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of fitness for a particular application purpose.

Owner Responsibility
Proper maintenance and care of the STAK System will help achieve maximum use and lower operating costs. The limited regular and proper maintenance required, as stated in the Installation and Operation Manual by competent maintenance personnel, will help avoid operating problems with the STAK System.
