1. HOUSING
First, choose from one of eight custom cabinet housings:

2. DRAWERS
Once you’ve got your heavy-duty housing squared away, you’re ready to add your drawers! Based on what you need to store, choose the combination of drawer heights that works best for you. Drawer heights range from 2-1/4 inch (Model 20) to 13-1/4 inch (Model 90). Drawer depth and width will be determined based on your custom cabinet housing size.

3. COLORS
What do you want your cabinet to look like? Mix and match Stanley Vidmar's ten standard housing and drawer colors to create a cabinet that matches your work environment! (Custom colors are also available.)

 

4. DRAWER INTERIORS
Within each of your cabinet drawers (which, by the way, can each hold up to 400 lbs.), you’ll need a drawer interior that matches up with your storage items.

Vidmar’s most popular drawer interiors are partition-and-divider setups referred to as “Loading Diagrams,” available in the custom configurations that best suit your needs! Once you know how many storage compartments you’ll need in a drawer, the rest is easy. Loading Diagram layouts can vary from drawer to drawer in the same cabinet.

5. CABINET DOORS & SHELVES
In many storage situations, items need to be stored that do not fit inside traditional cabinet drawers. To make sure you can accommodate these situations, Stanley Vidmar offers a variety of drawer alternatives:

A) Shelf Cabinet Doors
Ideal for oversized items, as well as fragile or motion-sensitive items, shelf cabinet doors are available in six different heights ranging from 27 to 59 inches high.

B) Stationary Cabinet Shelves 
Stationary cabinet shelves can be used within any cabinet that’s outfitted with a shelf cabinet door, or with open cabinet housing. Cabinet shelves can be placed every 3/4 inch within your housing unit.

C) Roll-Out Shelves
Roll-out shelves are also an ideal option for oversized items (wide or tall). Roll-out shelves consist of a flat surface attached to a drawer front, with no sidewalls.

6. LOCKS
If you need to keep items secure, the final piece of your custom cabinet configuration is a heavy-duty lock system. Stanley® Vidmar® cabinet lock options include security drawer locks, individual drawer padlocks, lock-in/lock-out latches, standard drawer locks, and hinge lock bars. To protect your valuable inventory, the Stanley® Vidmar® keying system is virtually impossible to duplicate.
